the only copy from one of the earliest production
runs ever offered by Heritage Auctions, sold for a record $870,000 Friday at Heritage Auctions in the first Video Games Auction ever held.
The result smashed the previous record of $660,000,
set in April 2021 when Heritage sold Super Mario Bros. – Wata 9.6 A+ Sealed [Hangtab, 1 Code, Mid-Production], NES Nintendo 1985 USA for $660,000.
