Subaru Recall Rearview Camera Could Fail

Subaru is recalling 71,190 of its 2018 BRZ and Legacy cars and Outback wagons because a software problem can cause the screen that displays the view from the rearview camera to remain blank, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety

Vehicles involved: 71,190 , including:

• 2018 Legacy sedans and Outback wagons built from May 18, 2017, through July 23, 2018.

• 2018 BRZ coupes built from Aug. 29, 2017, through Aug. 30, 2018.

The problem: A software error may leave the screen that displays the view from the rearview camera blank.
