Mazda Recalls Cars Because Wipers Could Fail

Mazda is recalling 2016-2018 Mazda3 cars because a defective electrical part can fail,

leaving drivers unable to use their windshield wipers, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Details：

  1. Vehicles involved: 187,798 of the 2016-2018 Mazda3 cars, built from July 20, 2015, through July 18, 2017.
  2. The problem: A relay for the windshield wipers can fail, making the wipers inoperable.
  3. The fix: Dealers will replace the module that controls the wipers with a new version, at no charge to owners.
