LG Electronics: 4Q operating profit in 2018, the largest decrease – 79.7% down to 75.7 billion won

January 31, the fourth quarter of 2018 (October to December) and annual performance (consolidated basis) announced.
Fourth quarter sales
15.7723 trillion won (about 1.5772 trillion yen, 1 won = about 0.1 yen), which is 7.0% lower than the same period last year,
Operating income
Reduced by 79.4% to 75.7 billion won (see attached document).
Operating income of organic EL televisions and other business declined, and the expansion of the operating loss of mobile phones and so on greatly affected.
Sales for the full year of 2018
61.0 trillion 431.7 billion won, down 0.1% from the previous year
Operating income
Revenue and income increased by 9.5%, to 2,730.3 billion won.
Operating income of white goods household appliances division and television division has become the largest ever.
