At the same time as the introduction of the ZEH system, its popularity rapidly expanded.

A new factory will be built at the home air conditioner manufacturing base in Turkey.
Production capacity will be increased and operations are scheduled to begin in February 2024.
Production capacity of Türkiye base:
Residential room air conditioners: Expanded to 1.1 million units, an increase of 37.5% compared to the FY2022 plan.
Heat pump space heaters and water heaters: Expanded to 300,000 units, a 50% increase compared to the FY22 plan.
Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Türkiye (MACT)
The new factory will employ 300 people when it starts operating.
MACT will have more than 900 employees.
We are currently producing heat pump space heaters and water heaters at our factory in Scotland.
From 2024 onwards, MACT will be the main base.
