Kansai Airport Departure Terminal:

A robot system that automatically performs PCR tests has been installed at the entrance of the departure terminal at Kansai Airport.

The robot is Kawasaki Heavy Industries:

The robot was developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries and others.

It is a mechanism that automatically performs all processes from emptying the container to inspection.

You can see the test result in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Operated from this summer:

If it operates for 16 hours, it is possible to test up to 2500 samples a day.

This automatic inspection system is scheduled to start operation around the summer of this year for international passengers.
