🏗Kenya received orders for 16 harbor loading cranes for Mombasa Port
In collaboration with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has jointly established a port handling crane 16 for Kenya Port Authority “KPA” from the Kenya Department of Transportation Port Authority “KPA” for the Kenya Republic and Mombasa port development project, East Africa’s largest trading port (Four gantry cranes for quay walls and 12 transfer cranes for yards).
This project is Phase 2 of the “Mombasa Port Development Project”, an ODA loan that delivered cranes to Africa for the first time as Mitsui Zosen in 2015.
The order value is about 7.2 billion yen, which is scheduled for completion around 2020.
