AGC: Large-size display panel development-Large-screen, high-definition AN RezostaTM
Industry’s Highest Young’s Modulus Provides More Beautiful, Large Panel Production

AGC:
Succeeded in developing “AN RezostaTM”, a large glass substrate for high definition and large screen displays, which has the highest Young’s modulus in the industry.
We aim to develop a mass production system within 2019.
Display panel: manufacturing process
Glass substrates are required to suppress warpage (increase the Young’s modulus) due to film stress of metal films and to minimize shrinkage due to heat treatment.
Recently, to realize the performance and productivity of large-screen, ultra-high-definition, high-speed drive panels, we have developed the large glass substrate “AN RezostaTM”, which has a higher Young’s modulus and smaller heat shrinkage than “AN100”. .
“AN RezostaTM”:
With the industry’s highest Young’s modulus and low thermal contraction rate of 85 GPa, it contributes to the improvement of performance and productivity of large-screen, ultra-high definition, and high-speed drive panels.
