Kawasaki Heavy Industries:

We will develop a floating LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) power plant equipped with a high-efficiency in-house power generation facility on the floating body.

DNV · GL: 2018 edition “Gas Power Plant” latest rule

Based on the latest rules for gas engine models and 2018 “Gas Power Plant”, the basic design approval * 2 was obtained from DNV / GL * 1.

Floating LNG Power Plant: CCPP (Combined Cycle Power Plant)

LNG fuel tank,
LNG vaporizer,
Power generation equipment,
Substation equipment
It is an integrated system equipped with everything on the floating body.

Towing the ocean and rivers, and mooring at the installation site, generates power on the floating body and supplies power to the onshore power grid.

Countries where land for power plant construction runs short
Demand is expected in areas with challenges in geographical conditions.
