Subaru expands helicopter MRO capacity. Industry

Japanese group Subaru, formerly Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), has expanded its aerospace facilities in the Tochigi prefecture to include a centre to support the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of helicopters for the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF).
Subaru said in a press release that the new facility, which was officially opened on 18 January, will increase its annual helicopter MRO capacity by 30% – or an increase from the current capacity of undertaking full MRO on 100 helicopters per year to 130.
