China: Beijing Daxing International Airport opened: Traffic access, automatic parking system

This report provides an overview of Daxing Airport and the status of infrastructure and facilities.
Daxing Airport:
Beijing’s second international airport, 46 km south of Tiananmen.
It has four runways at present and plans to add more in the future.
Terminal:
The fourth floor is the international departure gate,
The third floor is the domestic departure gate,
The second floor is the domestic arrival gate,
The first floor has international arrivals and taxis, limousine buses, and local buses.
The first basement floor is directly connected to the subway “Daoxing Airport Line” and the high-speed railway “Keio Line”.
Traffic access:
Daxing Airport is characterized by convenient traffic access
About 19 minutes from Kusabashi Station on Subway Line 10,
Approximately 30 minutes from Beijing West Railway Station

1st basement floor:
There are also luggage storage counters and security checkpoints for domestic flights.
Domestic passengers can board immediately after getting off the subway or high-speed rail.
There is a self-service luggage storage counter at the airport.
Advanced technologies such as an automatic parking system (a robot is transported to the parking space) are used.
