China (CAAM): April NEV (new energy vehicle) production､sales favorable-2018 NEV report

On May 27, 2018 NEV production and sales status report was released.
2018: NEV production volume
In 2018, the NEV production volume is 1.27 million, and the NEV sales volume is 1.25 million (4.5% of all vehicles).
Of the NEV sales volume, EV is 75% (1.05 million units).
January-April 2019: NEV sales volume
Overall vehicle sales in January-April 2019 decreased 12.1% YoY.
On the other hand, sales of NEVs increased sharply by 59.8% at 360,000 units.
CAAM expects sales in 2019 to be in the range of 1.6 to 1.7 million units (see figure)

Car Japanese family,
Cloudiness,
The crowd,
Production and sales by emerging car manufacturers are also beginning.
In 2018, sales by emerging manufacturers reached 26,000 units.
Horai (11,300 units),
Cloudiness (7,397),
Weima (3,850),
The three companies accounted for about 90% of the sales volume of emerging manufacturers.
