The Chinese version ‘Spirited Away’ has been screened in China from June 21st.
It turned out that box office income of Chinese version’Spirited Away’ has surpassed 472 million yuan (about 7.42 billion yen) in three weeks.
Eighteen years after its release in Japan, it has been a big hit in China.
Screening period: 1 month extension
Also, it was announced that the final screening was scheduled for July 20, but will be postponed to August 20, one month later.
“My Neighbor Totoro”:
“My Neighbor Totoro” was screened for the first time in China last December.
The final box office income of 1.73 billion yuan (about 2.8 billion yen) was recorded, and the box office results are reasonable.
