Tokyo, Oct. 25 (Jiji Press)–Toyota Motor Corp. <7203> will put an all solid-state lithium-ion battery into practical use in the first half of the 2020s, Executive Vice President Didier Leroy said Wednesday.
The leading Japanese automaker has been trying to achieve commercial application of all solid-state battery technology that can allow electric motor-driven vehicles to travel significantly farther per single charge than now.
