-On the green tea and black tea production line-

KIRIN
FANUC

Collaboratively developed with FANUC a robot that automatically inserts tea leaves on the green tea and black tea production lines.

It will start operations at Kirin Beverage’s Shonan Plant (Kanagawa) on the 27th.

Labor saving and workload reduction:

Four robots unpack the cardboard box containing the tea leaves, open the inner bag, take it out, and then throw it into the tea leaf slot.

The work load will be reduced by about 2300 hours a year by saving labor and reducing the work load.

Tea leaf automatic loading equipment:

Consists of 4 robots.

Transport the tea leaf pallet to the stock area and the area where the craft bags are taken out.

Remove the cardboard and inner bag from the transported tea leaf pallet.

Open the inner bag of tea leaves and the craft bag with an ultrasonic cutter.

The tea leaves that have been opened and taken out are put into the tea leaves from the slot.

Flexible staffing:

With the introduction of the automatic loading equipment this time, there will be no restrictions on the weight handling of tea leaf loading work.
