Sōgenbi ( “religion source fire”)
It was an onibi in Kyoto in Sekien Toriyama’s Gazu Hyakki Yagyō.
It was stated to be a monk who once stole from the Jizōdō in Mibu-dera who received Buddhist punishment and became an onibi,
and the anguishing face of the priest would float inside the fire.[11] The name also appeared in the “Shinotogibōko”, a collection of ghost stories from the Edo period.
