On March 18, it announced that it would build a large biopharmacy manufacturing base in Holly Spring, North Carolina, USA.
The investment amount is 2 billion dollars,
Scheduled to start operation by the spring of 2025
Expected to employ 725 people by 2028.
New FDB / US base:
Became the largest biopharmacy CDMO under the umbrella of Fujifilm.
It has already owned a base in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina since 1996.
This new plant is the second in North Carolina.
