Terumo has developed a syringe that can be inoculated seven times with one new coronavirus vaccine made by Pfizer.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare approved the manufacture and sale on the 5th. Production is expected to start from the end of March.

It plans to produce 20 million units in the first year.

In order to enhance the effect of the vaccine, the needle was lengthened by 3 mm compared to a syringe intended for subcutaneous injection, making it easier for the drug solution to reach the muscles.
