COVID-19: Mitani Sangyo, Avegan drug substance production: Subsidiary “Active Pharma” from July
Mitani Sangyo:
On April 27, it announced that it will produce the drug substance of the new influenza drug “Abigan” at the factory of its subsidiary “Active Pharma” from July.
Subsidiary: “Active Pharma”
Established in 2009 as a joint investment of Mitani Sangyo and a generic drug manufacturer / Nichiiko.
The active drug Toyama plant produces the drug substance and delivers it to Fujifilm Toyama Chemical (Tokyo).
There was a request for cooperation from Fujifilm to increase the production of Avegan, and we decided to entrust it.
Mitani Sangyo says, “We recognize that this is one of the most important social missions. We want to immediately prepare the manufacturing system.”
