China’s high-speed rail:
Around 10:30 am on the 4th,
An accident occurred in which a high-speed railway derailed near Rongjiang Station in Guizhou Province in southern China.
One driver was killed and a total of eight crew members and passengers were injured.
China National Central Television reported.

More than 130 other passengers
were safely evacuated from the train.
Chinese media quote local officials
as saying a mudslide from a mountain flowed onto the rail track.
Rain had fallen intermittently in the area.
In 2020,
one person was killed and more than 120 were injured when a train hit a landslide and derailed elsewhere in China.
