Taiwan is the country with the world’s largest scale of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography equipment.
“ASML will continue to ramp up investment in Taiwan and support Taiwan’s customer base and the global semiconductor industry,” he added.
According to the Taiwanese media outlet,
ASML currently employs more than 4,500 people at five plant sites in Taiwan and is expanding its business in the country.
