Fast food: Eastern Europe’s biggest AmRest, sushi chain acquisition – French Sushi Shop

AmRest Corporation, the largest restaurant chain in Central and Eastern Europe, acquired the French Sushi Shop Group (operated Sushi Shop) on October 31.
The purchase price was EUR 164 million.
AmRest is a partner of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, expanded to Poland and Russia (see table).
With this acquisition, Sushi Shop will be the fifth largest brand in AmRest.
