AML / OFAC: US government to 18 financial institutions in Iran: sanctions tightened,

US Treasury:
On October 8, it announced that it would tighten sanctions on 18 Iranian financial institutions.
The Treasury will freeze the assets of 18 Iranian banks in the United States.
United States person (Note 1)
“Transactions with sanctions by Americans (Note 1), etc.” are prohibited.
Also, after November 23, “certain transactions with non-American sanctions” may also be subject to secondary sanctions.
18 lines subject to this sanction (Note 2)
The Ministry of Finance has announced that the 18 banks subject to this sanction (Note 2)
Based on Executive Order 13902 signed by President Trump in January 2020
Targeted on SDN: Specially Designated Nationals list.
It has also been added to the subject of secondary sanctions that prohibit transactions with non-Americans.
