Southeast Asia: 5G introduction

Currently, implementation of 5G is being considered in Southeast Asia.

In this region, major Chinese communication equipment such as Huawei and Zhongxing (ZTE) are in the offensive.

USA:

In May, we decided to allow US companies to procure communication equipment in China for security concerns.

Furthermore, we are calling on countries not to introduce equipment from major Chinese communication equipment such as Huawei.

In several countries, there is a movement to select Chinese companies as partners for 5G promotion.

Philippines: Communications giant Globe Telecom

The full-scale 5G commercial network service started in June, the first 5G commercialization in Southeast Asia.

In fact, Huawei is a supplier of its core equipment.

Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar:
