Overview

We have developed a rectifier circuit of HySIC (Hybrid Semiconductor Integrated Circuit) in which gallium nitride (GaN) diode and silicon (Si) matching circuit are mixed.

Using this rectifier circuit of the hybrid structure, we demonstrated ‘technology for converting microwave to direct current’ in the world for the first time.

Spaceship · Safety To accomplish a reliable mission, ‘Sensors installed in various places,’ a technology to constantly monitor the state of the aircraft and equipment ‘is essential.

We will further enhance the performance of the HySIC rectifier circuit developed in the future, and put into practical use the spacecraft and wireless power supply system.

This technical details was announced on November 6 – 9, 2018 2018 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC 2018).
