“Nature and Future” and “M-Tex”:

Heavy oil spill that occurred off the coast of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.

Kumamoto’s biodiesel manufacturing and sales company, “Natural and Future,” provides oil adsorbents locally.

We are developing activities to deliver the oil adsorbents of the Tokyo venture company “M-Tex” to the local area.

The two companies say, “We want to put excellent Japanese technology into the field and protect the sea and creatures.”

What is an oil adsorbent:

The oil adsorbent is “Magic Fiber” from MTex.

Made of nanofiber material,
It absorbs only oil with a cotton-like feel,
Characterized by not sucking water.
Only 20 grams absorb 1 liter of oil.

Heavy rain in northern Kyushu:

During the heavy rain last year that hit northern Kyushu, it was very successful in absorbing the oil spilled from the ironworks in Omachi Town, Saga Prefecture.

At the request of the Self-Defense Forces, about 190,000 pieces of magic fiber (about 100 million yen worth) were provided to the disaster area as relief supplies.
