MOL: 1 billion yen for Mauritius environmental protection: Announcement of fund establishment

MOL:

On September 11th, it announced that it would contribute about 1 billion yen mainly to the establishment of a fund used for environmental protection in Mauritius.

Continue to provide support over the medium to long term in collaboration with private companies.

The cargo ship is arranged by the company and fulfills the social responsibility of the accident.

Contribution to the fund:

Approximately 100 million yen will be contributed to a fund of a local NGO and the Mauritius government.

We will continue to support the local fisheries and tourism industries that have been hit by fuel oil pollution.

Donate a 40-foot freezer container at the request of the locals.

today announced to provide long-term contributions to the environment and the society of Mauritius with the support and cooperation of experts and organizations with specialized knowledge of environmental restoration and protection, and working closely with the government of Japan.

Thirteen MOL Group employees
