Japan · NICT: improved frequency utilization efficiency by 2.5 times – Developed radio access technology STABLE

Five terminal stations use the same frequency , same time domain for  transmitting  small size data in millisecond order.

We have developed a new wireless system STABLE and succeeded in the outdoor transmission experiment of simultaneous connection of five terminals including a mobile station.

We confirmed that the data transmitted from each terminal can be restored by outdoor transmission experiment including mobile terminal as shown in Fig.2.

By using this technology, the frequency utilization efficiency has been improved about 2.5 times compared to the conventional LTE type uplink.
