-Application expectation for the promotion of low pollen cedar-

Iwatani Corporation:

Iwatani Sangyo has found for the first time * that a growth promotion effect can be obtained by using fine bubble water (water containing fine bubbles) in the cultivation of conifer seedlings (patent pending).

The application to container cultivation of cedar seedlings is expected to promote the spread of low pollen cedar.

Japanese cedar seedlings: practical application of growth promotion

First of all, among conifers, we are focusing on the practical application of promoting the growth of cedar seedlings.
The reason is that one of the main causes of hay fever is cedar pollen.

current problem:

As a countermeasure against cedar pollen, transplantation to “poor pollen cedar” with less pollen is being promoted.

However, seedling producers have decreased due to aging.

Improving the productivity of seedlings (shortening the cultivation period, etc.) is an issue for their spread.

Use of fine bubble:

Fine bubbles are fine bubbles, and the concentration of oxygen dissolved when they are generated in water using air.

It also has the property of generating active oxygen that promotes germination and rooting.

Fine bubble effect:

This “fine bubble water” is used for cultivating cedar seedlings.

Compared to normal water use, it was confirmed that the seedlings grew faster and the branches and roots became stronger.

This “fine bubble water” can reduce immature seedlings and improve the yield.

In the past, it took two to three years to grow from sowing to planting.

This “Fine Bubble Water” can be reduced to one and a half to two years.
