International freight train: “Warsaw Line” started operation – From Shandong Province, via Russia

“Yanzhou – Warsaw Line” of international freight train originating from Shandong Province started operation on 30th November.

The train will be the first international train departing from Shandong Province to enter major European cities.

The travel distance of this route is about 10,000 km, the number of running days is about 15 days

Departed Chenzhou North Station of Jining City, Shandong Province,

Departing from Manchuri in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,

Arrived in Russia via Warsaw in Poland

As of 2018, the European Union has 65 routes (connecting 52 cities in China and 44 cities in 15 countries in Europe).

In Shandong province from 2015, operations of “European group” started in 9 cities including Qingdao City, Jinan City, Weihai City and so on.
