A joint venture is being planned in Mozambique Offshore Area 1.
We are pleased to announce that we have received an order for EPC (Design, Procurement, and Construction work) at Onshore LNG Project.
Anadarko Mocambique Area 1, Lda:
This agreement is concluded with Anadarko Mocambique Area 1, Lda, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko.
Anadarko is an operator in Area 1 Block.

Project size: EPC work
In this case, construction and trial operation of LNG plant with annual production capacity of about 6 million tons.
Design, procurement and construction of 2 series of plants, LNG tank and shipping equipment.
The EPC business is scheduled to start with the approval of construction, which will be issued by Anadarko after the final investment decision on June 18.

MEI’s operations and responsibilities are technical support operations mainly based on “Design review conducted by Saipem and McDermott”.
