Marubeni, in partnership with AbuJinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., will invest in Sweihan PV Power Company.
Finally, in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi, the Suwahan solar power project has been completed.
In 2019, 4Power Corporation started commercial operation as originally planned.
Project: Overview
In this project, Marubeni / JinkoSolar / AD Power will construct, maintain and operate a 1,177 MW photovoltaic power plant through Sweihan PV Power Company.
Solar power is sold to Emirates Water and Electricity Company for 25 years.
In this project, in May 2017, the Bank of Tokyo-UFJ (currently Mitsubishi UFJ Bank), Norinchukin Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and other eight banks formed a project finance project, and construction has proceeded smoothly.
Construction was completed in 23 months as originally planned.
Commercial operation has started this time.
