Mitsubishi Fuso Launches New Trucks in the Australian Market-“Brisbane Truck Show”

Launch of new heavy-duty trucks in the Australian market following Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand
Pursuing safety and fuel efficiency thoroughly and showing superior performance
“Brisbane Truck Show”:
The new heavy-duty truck will be announced at the “Brisbane Truck Show” held in Brisbane, Australia on May 16, 2019 and will be released from June 1, 2019.
Heavy-duty trucks are called “Shogun” in Australia and New Zealand.
“Shogun”:
It is equipped with an 11-liter “OM470” engine that uses a common rail system in compliance with the Euro 6 emissions regulations.
Compared to conventional vehicles, fuel efficiency has been improved. Furthermore, the new 12-speed mechanical automatic transmission (AMT) “ShiftPilot (shift pilot)” realizes smooth driving that is less susceptible to load fluctuations and road conditions.
New safety features:
Auto cruise with inter-vehicle distance holding function
Proximity Control Assist, with automatic stop and automatic start functions,
Active brake assist 4 (ABA4) that detects movement of not only vehicles ahead but also pedestrians
