Ebola hemorrhagic fever: Okinawa Science and Technology graduate school (OIST), elucidation of the structure of Ebola virus – published in Nature
Associate Professor Matthias Wolff of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and a research group of the Osaka University Institute for Protein Research conducted a study on the Ebola hemorrhagic fever (high lethal) pathogen – Ebola virus, at the atomic level .
We are clarifying the mechanisms by which proteins constituting viruses and proteins and genomes are linked.
We expect to develop into the development of drugs that inhibit virus formation and suppress infection in the future.
The paper will be posted on the electronic version of English science magazine Nature on the morning of 18th.
