Telexistence: FamilyMart, Model-T introduction: Remote control of robot
Telexistence:
Using the “Model-T”, a remote-controlled robot / practical experiment has started at FamilyMart.
Practical application experiment:
Remotely controlled from TX Toranomon office
A remote operator uses a VR terminal,
I operated the robot installed at the Toshima store.
As a starting point, we started by displaying PET bottled beverages, which have a relatively large amount of work.
Future plans:
Verify the display speed and accuracy by the robot.
In the future, we will expand the products to be worked on, such as rice balls, sandwiches, and lunch boxes.
Aim to introduce it to up to 20 stores in 2022.
