GIC Among Cornerstone Investors in $680 Million Vincom IPO

Vincom Retail JSC, a subsidiary of Vingroup JSC and Vietnam’s largest mall operator, attracted orders from Singapore’s GIC Private Limited and eight other cornerstone investors in an initial public offering that could raise a record-breaking US$ 680 million on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, according a prospectus on the deal.

According to transaction data from SWFI, GIC is a major investor in Vietnam in terms of real estate and equity investments.
