Protesting against racism, more than 1,000 people took part in the demonstration.
On June 21, a demonstration was held in downtown Kyoto.
It is a demonstration march in protest against racism following a black police assault in a US police officer.
More than 1,000 people (announced by the organizer) participated in the call from Instagram and Facebook.

Participants gathered at Maruyama Park adjacent to Yasaka Shrine (Higashiyama Ward in the city).
“The victim of the incident, George Floyd, was forced by a police officer to push his neck to the ground for 8 minutes and 46 seconds,” he said silently.
After that, we marched to the front of Kyoto City Hall.
