We received an order from the Portuguese government for a 10-petaflops supercomputer system.

Portuguese Government:

EuroHPC consortium and
The Portuguese Government Science and Technology Organization
Jointly contributed funds and placed an order.
Operation is scheduled to begin in early 2022.

Minho Advanced Computing Center:

It will be installed at the “Minho Advanced Computing Center” in the country in the future.

Fujitsu supplying FUJITSU supercomputer PRIMEHPC FX700 with Fujitsu A64FX processor. The technology is used in supercomputer Fugaku, which was jointly developed by RIKEN and FUJITSU, and recently retained No. 1 position in the TOP500 list of fastest supercomputers Fujitsu

In a contract valued at €20 million, Fujitsu will supply MACC

with its FUJITSU Supercomputer PRIMEHPC FX700, which incorporates the new Arm-based Fujitsu A64FX processor.

This processor is powering vital areas of new research and is the core technology used in supercomputer Fugaku4 which was jointly developed by Japan’s leading research institute RIKEN and Fujitsu.
