NTT DATA: AI to diagnose abnormality of substation equipment – Introduced to TEPCO 1300 substation
NTT DATA learns transformer facility data by image analysis AI and performs “oil leakage detection of oil-filled transformer, detection of building abnormality such as outer fence, automatic reading of analog meter”.
Together, we will use “abnormal sound detection AI” to learn “operating sounds of equipment” to detect and detect damage and deterioration of bearings etc.
Since fiscal 2019, we introduced this solution to about 1,300 distribution substations within TEPCO PG jurisdiction.
Patrol time: We aim to reduce by 50%.
