NEDO: To develop 6 composite materials: KHI, ShinMaywa, Toray, Tohoku University

NEDO:

Aircraft fuel economy improvement,
Improved environmental compatibility,
Improved maintainability,
To improve safety
We have started six new research and development projects on composite materials such as CFRP and CMC for aircraft.

Reduction of CO2 emissions:

We will develop elemental technologies such as composite materials to solve issues such as reliability and cost required for aircraft.

We aim to reduce energy consumption by improving the fuel efficiency of aircraft and reduce CO2 emissions by 15 million tons by 2040.

R & D theme: List of planned implementation destinations
