JDI: Next-gen microLED display prototype: US glo microLED chip

JDI:

The 29th Liquid Crystal, Organic EL, and Sensor Technology Exhibition will be held at Makuhari Messe from December 4 (Wed) to 6 (Fri)

Next-generation microLED display will be exhibited at “Finetech Japan 2019” for reference.

JDI’s “high brightness, wide viewing angle microLED display using LTPS backplane technology” has been realized.

Next-generation microLED display:

Indispensable for LCD

Backlight,
Polarizer,
Color filter

Next-generation display that realizes high brightness and wide viewing angle without the above components.

The micro LED display of the reference exhibit uses a micro LED chip from glo.

Development prototype specifications:

Screen size: 1.6 inches

Number of pixels: 300 x RGB x 300

Definition: 265ppi

Brightness: 3000 cd / m2

Viewing angle> 178 °
