JAXA: Successful launch of Epsilon No. 5: Equipped with 9 satellites

It is equipped with three CubeSat release devices (E-SSOD: Epsilon Small Satellite Orbital Deployer) that can mount up to three 1U CubeSats, and releases four CubeSats in outer space. (ARICA and KOSEN-1 are stored in one E-SSOD.)

On November 9, the small rocket “Epsilon” No. 5 was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center.

Equipped with 9 small satellites.

All satellites were separated and the launch was successful.

This is the fifth consecutive success since the first machine in 2013.
