Target of restructuring this time: production base of passenger car

· Two transmission factories

Baltimore, Maryland,

Warren, Michigan

· Stop operation

In addition to the Gunsan factory in Korea, two factories

Passenger cars in the US GM also decreased by 20.3% from the previous year, and the unit sales in 2017 decreased by 1.4% as a whole.

· At the three North American plants targeted this time,

Chevrolet ‘Impala’, ‘Cruise’, Cadillac ‘XTS’, etc. Sales volume decreased by about 60%, 30% decrease, 30% decrease, respectively, compared to the previous year.

· For personnel reduction, 15% of all employees, including 25% of executive classes, will be covered.
