Foreigners Net Sellers of Japanese Stocks for 2nd Week .
Tokyo, Aug. 10 (Jiji Press)–Foreign investors were net sellers of Japanese stocks for the second straight week last week, a Tokyo Stock Exchange report showed Thursday.
Foreigners posted a selling excess of 29,513 million yen, down from the preceding week’s 128,293 million yen, according to the report on stock transactions via 52 brokerage firms on the TSE and the Nagoya Stock Exchange, Japan’s two major stock exchanges.
Last week, the key 225-issue Nikkei average fell 7.51 points, or 0.04 pct, to end at 19,952.33 on Friday, with the market battered by the yen’s strengthening against the dollar. JIJI PRESS
