Foreigners Post 1st Net Selling in 2 Months in Aug.
Tokyo, Sept. 7 (Jiji Press)–Foreign investors turned net sellers of Japanese stocks for the first time in two months in August, a Tokyo Stock Exchange report showed Thursday.

In the reporting period from July 31 to Friday, foreigners posted a selling excess of 724,160 million yen, against the preceding month’s net purchases of 129,513 million yen, according to the report on the TSE and the Nagoya Stock Exchange.

The TSE said that overseas investors were net sellers of Japanese stocks for the sixth straight week last week, with their selling excess shrinking to 61,359 million yen from 152,904 million yen the previous week. JIJI PRESS
