COVID-19: JBIC supports Nusantara for 420 billion yen: Indonesia SWF

Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC):

JBIC will invest 4 billion dollars (about 420 billion yen) in SWF Indonesia.

Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister Rufut (in charge of maritime and investment) met with JBIC President Tadashi Maeda.

Investment scale:

It is said that it is twice the investment amount of the US IDFC commitment.

Nusantara Investment Authority:

The sovereign wealth fund was named the Nusantara Investment Authority.

The operation is scheduled to start in early 2021.

It aims to attract investment of 225 trillion rupiah (about 1.66 trillion yen).
