COVID-19: Impact on the aviation industry: Worst depression

International Air Transport Association (IATA):
On November 24, 2020 RPKs (Revenue Passenger Kilometers) are forecast to decrease by 66.3% year-on-year due to the impact of the new corona.
IATA Annual Report:
2020 RPKs are expected to be the biggest drop since World War II.
By region:
Asia Pacific decreased by 62.0% year-on-year,
Latin America down 64.0%
North America decreased by 66.0%,
Europe down 70.0%,
Africa decreased by 72.0%,
The Middle East is expected to decrease by 73.0%.
Loss on the entire air transport industry:
The total loss of the air transportation industry is estimated to be $ 118.5 billion.
IATA points out that the recovery in the second half is slow and travel restrictions in the air travel market will continue to push down earnings.
