The Paris Air Show 2023 opened on June 19th. A concept model of a flying boat-type unmanned aerial vehicle was announced.
Initial verification on a scale model has been completed. The company aims to commercialize the technology after the mid-2020s.
“Flying boat-type unmanned aerial vehicle”:
We have developed an amphibian UAV that automatically takes off and lands on the surface of the water and navigates automatically.
Developed flying boat UAV “Hamadori 3000” (3.1 x 2m) and “Hamadori 6000” (6 x 4m).
Toward certification for BVLOS:
A total of 4 machines have been built so far.
First, we aim to obtain BVLOS flight certification for Hamadori 3000.
Flying Japan’s EEZ:
The aim is to develop an automatic take-off and landing aircraft that can hydroplane even when there are 3-meter waves on the sea surface.
It will be equipped with a large amount of equipment and will be able to fly and transport to the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
