RDIF Scores Methanol Plant Deal
In late May, during the 2018 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) stitched up a memorandum of cooperation with Baltic Gas Chemical Company, Moscow-based chemical investor Invasta Capital, and Japanese general trading company Marubeni, to develop and operate a new methanol plant and adjoining export terminal in the industrial area surrounding Russia’s Ust-Luga port on the Baltic Sea.
