1. Domestic regular airline
Passenger traffic volume of domestic regular airlines for December was 8,063 thousand, 7,413, 305 thousand km, cargo transport volume was 90,923 (100,181) ton, 97,172 (106,378) thousand ton kilo.
(1) Passenger transportation increased by 2.2% on a person basis, compared to the same month of the previous year, and on a person-kilometer basis, it increased by 2.4% from the same month of the previous year. The seat utilization rate was 68.0%.
(2) Freight transportation was on a ton basis, 1.6% lower than the same month the previous year (1.2% decrease), and on ton-kilometer basis it decreased by 2.3% (1.9% decrease) from the same month of the previous year. The weight utilization factor was 50.4%.
(Note) 1. The figures in () of freight transportation are numerical values including excess baggage and mail items.
2. Regular domestic air transportation results include commuter – air transportation results.
2. International aviation
Passenger traffic volume for international air transport for December was 1,900 thousand, 8,343,118 thousand kilometers, cargo transport volume was 151,073 (162,287) tons, 830,413 (883,740) thousand tons kilometers.
(1) Passenger transportation increased by 6.9% compared with the same month of the previous year on a human basis, and on a person kilometer basis, it increased by 6.7% from the same month the year before. The seat utilization rate was 77.3%.
(2) Freight transportation was on a ton basis, up 4.0% from the same month the previous year (4.3% increase), on a ton-kilometer basis, it increased by 5.6% (1.0% increase) from the same month of the previous year. The weight utilization factor was 75.1%.
